Cell phones primarily rely on wireless communication to transmit data. They use a network of interconnected cell towers, forming a vast web that spans the globe. This network is commonly referred to as the cellular network, and it comprises multiple technologies such as 2G, 3G, 4G, and now the blazing fast 5G. At the heart of data transmission in cell phones are radio waves. These electromagnetic waves, with frequencies ranging from a few hundred kilohertz to several gigahertz, carry information in the form of signals.
