Week 6 Post - Choosing the Best File System For You

When you are choosing a file system it is important to consider which operating system you are running, if you are running windows, you probably want to use NTFS, which is the default system for Windows and offers security, recovery, and performance benefits. If you happen to run a Linux operating system you may want to use ext4, which is the most widely used file system for Linux and offers stability, scalability, and efficiency. Whichever file system you decide to use, make sure you do as much reason as possible and check to make sure it is compatible with your current operating system, the worst thing you could do is choose the wrong file system with the wrong operating system.
